InfoTorg partner to VQ Knowledge and Strategy Forum

Today, Virtual Intelligence VQ and InfoTorg announced their cooperation for the VQ Knowledge and Strategy Forum. Here is the press release (in Swedish) with more details.

VQ Knowledge and Strategy Forum Legal 2010 takes place at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm on 11 and 12 November 2010. This forum covers topics of interest for leadership, strategy, innovation and technology for the legal and professional services market. The two-day event has a strong focus on the changing legal landscape, how the dynamics of legal services will change in the future, how to leverage the internal knowledge and what strategies or technologies will improve service delivery.

There is a mixture of international and Scandinavian speakers providing interesting, practical and visionary insights based on their extensive experience. Some of the interesting, experienced and visionary speakers are:

  • Nick Jarrett-Kerr, management consultant and leading international strategy adviser to law firms, on gripping current trends and competitive pressures and changing the traditional business model.
  • Lisa Göransson, Head of Nordic Desk, Allen & Overy, on cost efficient legal services, including alternative fee arrangements, outsourcing and working flexibly.
  • David Fitch, Director of Knowledge Management, Simmons & Simmons, on why knowledge management is not information technology, but  how IT is an essential enabler of any knowledge program, how best to leverage IT and the opportunities that exist to make best use of the systems available in your organisation.
  • Caroline Malm, Senior Consultant, Gartner provides perspective on trends in KM, such as recent trends on how to tame and make use of the information overflow we all are facing, where in the evolution hype cycle are these new trends and what can be expected of the near future?
  • Juliet Humphries, Head of  Knowledge & Learning , Bird & Bird, on trends and development of KM and where KM is going in the future.
  • Magnus Sundqvist, Nordic Knowledge Leader, Ernst & Young, on knowledge work in a global organisation with focus on increased customer and business sector knowledge.
  • Reidar Gjersvik, Knowledge Manager, Thommessen, on how KM can be used as an innovation driver at law firms through different initiatives ("idea work") which can make a law firm successful.
