Innovation and digitalisation in the legal sector
VQ is a pioneering company dedicated to the digitalisation of the legal sector. Founded in 2010 by two of Scandinavia’s most experienced legal professionals, VQ seamlessly combines legal expertise with IT innovation to create transformative solutions for the legal industry. Since its beginning, VQ has developed a range of innovative tools, including VQ Legal, an intelligent solution featuring ready-made standard documents for business law. Known as the “Digital Associate,” VQ Legal is now a cornerstone of the legal sector, used by nine of Sweden’s ten largest law firms, as well as by in-house legal teams and auditing firms. In recognition of its groundbreaking contributions, VQ was awarded the Swedish Legal Innovation Award in 2017. Earlier, in 2014, the VQ blog received international acclaim, winning a Clawbies Award as a must-read resource for European lawyers keen to stay ahead of legal market trends.
From 2010 to 2019, VQ arranged the renowned VQ Forum, which became Scandinavia’s leading legal innovation event. The forum served as a strategic platform for thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners to connect, share insights, and shape the future of legal services. Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2019, the event achieved the vision of being an inspiring meeting place for champions of change in the legal profession. Today, VQ continues to drive transformation as one of the founders of the Legal Transformation Network. Additionally, VQ partner Helena Hallgarn serves as an Ambassador for the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA).
Looking ahead, VQ remains committed to advancing innovation and supporting the evolution of the legal sector through fresh initiatives and collaborative opportunities.
