On October 8, legal professionals gathered in Copenhagen for TechTorget, an event organised in collaboration with Copenhagen Legal Tech, DI Rådgiverne and Djøf Advokat, dedicated to showcasing legal tech solutions and exploring what artificial intelligence means for the legal industry.
The day featured a mix of panel discussions, product demonstrations, and networking opportunities – all centered on one key theme: AI is here to stay, and it will transform legal services.
A key session focused on the future of legal services, bringing together representatives from leading Danish law firms, including Gorrissen Federspiel, Kromann Reumert, Andersen Kær, and the professional association Djøf Advokat. The discussion focued on how law firm leaders view innovation and technology. While everyone agreed on the need to use AI to enhance and develop legal services, there was also a shared recognition that the biggest shifts are yet to come.
Another panel, titled “Mythbusters,” addressed common misconceptions about AI in legal practice. Panelists discussed recurring concerns, from questions about accuracy and ethics to whether AI can truly understand legal nuance.
In addition to the panels, parallel sessions featured live demonstrations from various legal tech providers, giving attendees a first-hand look at tools designed to improve efficiency, collaboration, and client service.
Beyond the sessions, TechTorget also provided a platform for networking, a space for discussions between law firms, tech vendors, and in-house teams.
