This year marks the 10th anniversary of the European Legal Technology Association (ELTA) – a milestone that was celebrated in Berlin on Monday, complete with birthday cake!
Founded in 2016, ELTA has grown into an international community bringing together legal tech experts, innovators and enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond. Its mission is to strengthen legal technology at a European level by connecting people and organisations, sharing knowledge and promoting dialogue between legal professionals, technology providers, academia and other stakeholders.
Over the past decade, ELTA has played an important role in building a European legal tech community and creating a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences and perspectives on how technology is transforming the legal sector.
For me personally, it has been a pleasure to be part of this journey. I am currently an ELTA Ambassador for Sweden and have previously served on the ELTA Board as Vice President.
Ten years of ELTA is certainly worth celebrating – and I look forward to seeing how the European legal tech community continues to develop over the next ten years.
